About Swing in Durham
Swing in the Triangle means Lindy Hop and Balboa most weeks, with an East Coast lesson for newcomers before most socials. Durham dances most nights of the week. Blues and swing cluster downtown and around Lakewood; Latin socials run midweek in RTP-side studios; contra and English country dancing happen in community halls and meeting houses. Beginner-friendly means the organizer runs a lesson or explicitly welcomes first-timers; you do not need a partner or experience.
