Swing in the Triangle means Lindy Hop and Balboa most weeks, with an East Coast lesson for newcomers before most socials. Carrboro is the Triangle's contra town. The Century Center hosts regular contra dances with live bands and a walk-through for newcomers, and Cat's Cradle band nights often turn into dance nights. Beginner-friendly means the organizer runs a lesson or explicitly welcomes first-timers; you do not need a partner or experience.
