About Shag in Durham

Carolina Shag is the state dance of North Carolina and the Triangle has weekly shag socials with beach music DJs. Durham dances most nights of the week. Blues and swing cluster downtown and around Lakewood; Latin socials run midweek in RTP-side studios; contra and English country dancing happen in community halls and meeting houses.
