About Bachata in Durham
Bachata is on the floor at almost every Latin social in the Triangle, with dedicated bachata nights in Raleigh and Durham. Durham dances most nights of the week. Blues and swing cluster downtown and around Lakewood; Latin socials run midweek in RTP-side studios; contra and English country dancing happen in community halls and meeting houses. Beginner-friendly means the organizer runs a lesson or explicitly welcomes first-timers; you do not need a partner or experience.
